Excellent service from the staff. Sunday special is fantastic value £90 for six people. Take your own drinks. Best to book in advance as it is popular.
Myself And my Parter Traveled From Gloucester To York to see family, I asked my cousin where he would recommend To Eat, Iam soooo glad he recommended this place, GREAT SERVICE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE, POLITE, WHEELCHAIR ACCESS WAS GOOD! PICKLE TRAY WAS THE BEST EVER NAN BREAD OMG!!!! I WILL BE GOING BACK! Nothing was to much effort for these guy ALL BRILLIANT!
Great meal for the four of us this evening. All of us enjoyed our meal. Efficient service, polite and personable. Love the new decor too. New crockery and cutlery too. Will be back again soon.
Absolutely outstanding food. A fantastic price. Extremely friendly made your time in the restaurant very special. First visit there. We don't live in the county but will make all our friends and family aware of this place if they are visiting york. The couldn't do anything else to make you feel comfortable. The place is quite small and popular, so would recommend booking. We found the food delicious and high quality. The staff advised us to use the Sunday special which was fantastic value. The restaurant is cash only however, and they do not have an alcohol licence, so bring your own! We did find the staff are very friendly, however if you are not into friendly banter then this might not be the place for you, as it's very frequent. Overall I would recommend, but perhaps not if you are looking for a quite laid back meal.

We had a meal here this evening and the restaurant looks great. The staff are all lovely and the food was amazing. All Gluten free aswell apart from the naan and chipati. Would definitely recommend and we cant wait to return.
